Healthy Life, Health Care & Issues

In this section of the Blog, research articles, news, books, policies, professionals and people behind Policy guidelines and issues will be discussed

Recently I received a "LinkedIN Message" about a new Book on Health Care and how to Fix the problems in Health care in US. I am posting a brief exchange of the message below, it is from none other than the author himself Dr.Kenneth A. Fisher, MD. He is a Physician specializing in Nephrology, Consultant and Author of the book in discussion.  Here is the Link to learn more about the Author: At the bottom of this conversation, the book and details are listed.  The topic discussed in this book is very important, though I have not read the book yet, briefly looked at the books background and think it is a good read for Health care providers and other stakeholders in the field to fix problems within the health care system for both practitioners and policy leaders.

Dr. Muni, Patient care should be more than just another corporate/state transaction. Thanks for accepting my invitation. Put patients first with the option of expanded HSAs that fund routine and direct care along with nationally available private catastrophic insurance. Make this available to ALL Americans via means-tested federal/state or employer deposits into these accounts. Facilitate this by as many physicians as possible having a cash option. http://www.freedominhealthcare.org Ken

Agree, Health care and Medicine as a whole is heavily controlled by people who do not care about health care, and powers who do not and cannot understand Medicine!, Ironic...!! But, the fight must go on to fix as much as possible!. Muni

Dr. Muni, Thank you, I believe my book would enhance your understanding of the system we now find ourselves mired in and gives a patient-directed solution.  Ken
